The End of School

Hiya! I’m sorry I haven’t been on for a bit. No, just kidding, Two Years. Pretty amazing! So, I finished elementary school and am moving on to junior high!  I’m so excited! We went to a field trip to Iron Horse Middle School (the one I’m going to), and we took a tour. It was around two times as big as my elementary school! I am scared I’m going to get lost… But, no kidding, I’ll be a master of the school in 2 weeks, strutting around like a MOVIE STAR! Okay, maybe not THAT much, but I’ll know my way around. IHMS     < Iron Horse

Tomorrow I’ll be going to Six Flags, just like a year ago! I’ll try to update it tomorrow or the day after, but I will take lots of pics!

My Garden in 2013!

Hi guys! Sorry I haven’t written for a long time! This year, we started planting early, so now we’re getting tomatoes, cucumbers, kale, radishes, beets, arugula, peppers, and even a cantaloupe we planted from seed!

2013-06-09 Radish Harvest 009  We got these radishes in June.

My Radish Harvest!

Hi! Sorry that I was away for so long.

Today, I harvested my radishes! The radishes are called Easter Radishes. They are called “Easter Radishes”  because there are many different colors, such as red, purple, pink, white, and orange. They are also smaller than other radishes. We harvested from three gardens, and got about twenty in all. I got a really big one from my garden that I especially liked.  We had so much fun!  Red rose

Six Flags!

A few weeks ago, I went to Six Flags. We stayed the whole day. My favorite ride was Thrilla Gorilla. It was a rollercoaster that went around in circles 39 miles an hour. Here is a picture of the sign: 2012-08-03 Six Flags Discovery Kingdom 150

My sister and I went on it about 8 times. My dad went with us about 3 times, then he said if he went on another time he’d throw up. My mom didn’t go on at all because she said it looked too scary.

Here is a picture of us on the ride:2012-08-03 Six Flags Discovery Kingdom 139

We had a great time!

Our New Guitar!

2012-08-07 Guitar 018A few days ago, my dad bought my sister and I a guitar. (My dad’s website is:http://www.planetz.com/) He says it’s an acoustic guitar. I have no idea how to play, but he is teaching me. It is a 3-quarter size, he says it’s a perfect size for kids.

Here is a picture of it.

2012-08-07 Guitar 015 I have 2 picks that I use for playing. They look like this:

As you can see, they are both dragons. The first one is a long, blue dragon. The second one is a yellow dragon.

I hope you had a good time reading, bye!Winking smile

My awesome garden!

Hi! This is my garden.my garden and I The first plant (starting from the top) is the cucumber. Its whole name is Burpless Cucumber. I have NO idea why it’s called that. It’s about a foot and a half.

The second and third plants are tomatoes. The first tomato is called a Sunsugar, and the second is called Red Grape (the same kind I get from the grocery store.)

2012-07-18 things from the garden 018The second plant down from the top is my Easter Radishes. To me, it’s a really funny name. I planted them two days ago. The last time we planted them, they were very successful.

<Fresh veggies from my family’s garden.

The one on the right of the radishes is my marigolds. They’re supposed to help make sure that no bugs come close, and its doing its job awesomely. However, the marigold isn’t keeping bugs away from itself. I wonder why…

2012-07-27 Thyme 003The one on the right of the marigold is my English Thyme. I give it water every day but it is turning orangey-yellowy. It’s really weird, half the plant is that color, and the other half is green! My whole family has no idea why.

The plant below the Thyme is Cilantro. Its biggest sprout is about one and a half inches! I don’t understand why it is so small, because I planted it on 6/6.

The seedlings on the left of my Cilantro are usually called Little Finger Carrots. I also laugh at that one because they look little fingers! In my little sister’s garden, there is a HUGE one. It is 2 inches!

And, last but not least, my Green Onions! These are my favorite plants in my garden! They’re not very big, but I know they will grow up to be big and strong. I have green onions in about every meal(except breakfast.)

I hope you had a good time reading, happy gardening! Winking smile
